Chapter Requirements:

Guidelines:

  1. Every chapter must have a Director (a responsible and active member of WUAH for at least 6 months.) A Co-Director is also required to have a properly functioning program.
  2. The Chapter Director and Co-Director will preside over the chapter for a period of one year. They will be evaluated after the first 3 months to determine if they will maintain their director status.
  3. The Chapter Director will need to submit an application to cheryl@wishuponahero.com that will contain all their contact info, a resume, and a statement why you want to run the chapter.
  4. Directors and Co-Directors can not receive help from the Foundation.
  5. Directors and Co-Directors will not have wish making privileges. It is considered a conflict of interest and a security issue.
  6. Chapter members can not receive help from the chapters but can apply for help from the Foundation.
  7. Chapters & Programs can only help members who have not received help from the Foundation within the last 12 months.
  8. Chapter members do 3 main things:
    • Bring local community awareness to Wish Upon A Hero
    • Support fundraising events (auction items, sponsorships, time donation)
    • Contact the news media about a local hero or wish.
