Corporate Hero Program

Corporate Hero Program

The Corporate Hero Program was created as a way for businesses to empower their employees through a donation matching program.

Overview:

Corporate Philanthropy:

Corporate Philanthropy is a great opportunity for a company to engage their employees, strengthen their corporate values, and generate good public relations. Generally companies participate or support a charity or a cause at some capacity. The donations are a decision made by the companies charitable board or by the top executives. Many times this philanthropy will go unnoticed by much of the staff. That can be attributed to non-interest due to un-involvement or disinterest due to not being emotionally connected to the cause.

The Corporate Hero Program was created to empower employees to make a difference with the support of their employer. There are many benefits for both the company and the individual.

  • Individuals feel like they can make a difference
  • Collaboration strengthens the corporate culture
  • Employees become a steward of the company's values
  • Involvement promotes a sense of self-importance
  • How It Works:

    The Process is Simple!
After a company has registered with Wish Upon A Hero Foundation, we then will create a unique web page. This page will contain:

The Philanthropic Mission: Establishes the corporate matching amounts and the general guidelines on wish granting.

Wish Tracking System: This area contains all the wishes granted by the the company and its employees.

Donation Center: An online form for employees to donates through paypal or credit card.

    Getting Started:

    Let's Help Someone!
The best practice is to appoint the human resource manager as the Corporate Hero Program Director. They will manage the web page, have access to granting wishes, and inspire the staff to grant wishes. A formal announcement is then sent to the entire staff on how they can make a difference in someone's life and how their company is supporting their efforts.
