Program Director: Jami A. Van Brocklin Forum Link: Operation Return the Favor Founded: In 2006 and assisted efforts by Butler Community College’s Alpha Phi Alpha Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society, El Dorado, Kansas. Goal: To provide a Christmas stocking full of goodies and snacks to each of the 135 single soldiers as a token of thanks. Program Expense Goal: $3000 Program Expense Details: $270 for stockings (avg. $2 each stocking), $60 for bags of candy (avg. $3 x 20 bags), $1,350 for $10 worth of stocking stuffers or gift card for $10 Program Requirements: Soldiers and units MUST BE coming home from ACTIVE WAR ZONES within a 6 month timeframe.
