Overview: Wish Upon A Hero believes that every communty should have a safe well maintained recreational area for children to enjoy. We feel it is important that every community provides a playground facility for both recreation and sports related activities. It strengthens the community as a whole through neighborhood interactions and it teaches children the importance of respecting public facilities.

 

How’s It Works: The Wish Upon A Hero Playground projects consist of selling engraved bricks to local businesses along with school and community fundraising participation. Wish Upon A Hero will maintain all the funds and consolidate the efforts. The Playground Heroes Program will involve important corporate partners who will provide the resources to build, install, and maintain the playground areas. A Wish Upon A Hero paver medallion will be the center piece. It will be surrounded by the engraved community bricks, known as the Heroes Walkway.

What You Can Do: It's easy to help and support one of our selected playground projects.

You can:

  • Donate Directly to the Foundation (please specify which playground)
  • Purchase a Playground Heroes shirt to raise program money
  • Purchase a Hero Paver (great for individuals, schools and organizations)
  • Sell a Corporate Hero Paver to businesses in your community

  • Community must be willing and available to help participate
