Recycle Heroes Program

Recycle Heroes Program

Program:

Cell phone and ink cartridge donation program to help protect the environment while generating revenue for the Foundation.

Program Details:

Mission: Wish Upon A Hero is the largest social helping website in the world. Our members are represented in over 100 countries. The Recycle Heroes program has been established to organize the collection of cell phones and ink cartridges to be disposed of properly.

How it works: Send your old cell phones and used ink/laser cartridges to Wish Upon a Hero. We will collect them and ship them to Funding Factory where they will recycle them and we will earn donation dollars. The money generated from the phones and cartridges will go towards granting wishes.

Check the list to see if your phone and printers cartridges qualify.

SEND TO:
Wish Upon A Hero Foundation
521 Fellowship Road, Suite 140

Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

Facts: Cell phones contain toxic metals that can pollute the environment and threaten human health. When recycled responsibly, the metals can be put back into circulation, decreasing the need for new metal mining.

There are more than 500 million used cell phones in the landfills.

Approximately 60% of recycled cell phones have resale value as refurbished cell phones.

Fewer than 20% of cell phones are recycled each year and most people do not know where to recycle them and only 5% of empty printer cartridges are being recycled.

Corporate Partners:

The Recycle Heroes Program is looking for global corporate partners to help us educate and reach as many people as posibble on the benefits of recycling old phones and ink cartridges. Please contact the Foundation if you are interested.
