I WISH someone would go with me to AA

I wish for LASIK eye surgery

A 30 year old wisher received life after pleading with the members of WishUponaHero.com to get the support she needed. With the stresses of family, work and overdue bills, our wisher turned to alcohol as a simple escape, but the escape became a new trap– one she could not quit. Her search for help proved pointless, everywhere she looked wouldn't admit a patient that couldn't pay. Downhearted, she sat in her home, ready to die. However, heroes heard this woman's wish and contacted local police and fire rescue. They escorted the woman to the hospital, where she got the help she needed. The members of Wish Upon a Hero had saved a life.

I WISH to honor a dying Hero...

I wish for LASIK eye surgery

11 year old Brenden Foster is the true definition of a hero. When the young boy was diagnosed with Leukemia, his doctors had a grim outlook. After a long battle with the disease, it was clear to his doctors that Brenden only had two weeks left to live. However, Brenden had one wish. With the little time he had left, he wanted to help the homeless. To honor Brenden Foster's wish, Wish Upon a Hero members worked together to collect over $350.00. With this money, a luncheon was planned in Brenden's honor at a town center named "The Refuge." Wish Upon a Hero wants to thank Brenden Foster. He is truly a hero that will not be forgotten.

I WISH to meet the recipients of Ethan's organs.

I wish for LASIK eye surgery

A young father grieved the loss of his son, Ethan, but was comforted that his child's organs would help save another's life. After receiving heart-felt letters from the grateful families and children that Ethan's organs were donated to, it was decided that Ethan's parents wanted to meet the recipients-- they wanted to see their son's legacy. As a result, Ethan's father made a wish on the Wish Upon a Hero website. It wasn't long after that members contacted the family of one of the children that Ethan saved.
