A friend posted a wish for her husband Craig, who is dying from stage 4 colon cancer. His cancer has reached a stage where there is minimal treatment that doctors can do for him. Craig's last wish is to see his "hero" and "idol" Gene Simmons from KISS.  The band was coming to town in Virginia Beach in July on the 21st. Tickets and a backstage pass for a meet and greet with Gene was very expensive and a wish was posted to help raise some funds to grant Craig's wish.  They needed $1,000 to make his wish come true.

Katy passed away a little over a year ago from a rare pediatric cancer. In her memory, her parents wish to open a children's bereavement center that would support and provide counseling for children who have experienced the loss of someone dear to them. Whether it was a grandparent, friend, sibling, parent, or even a beloved pet they want to help these children cope with their losses. By posting this wish, they hoped to raise enough money that would be put towards creating this establishment for children.

"My son passed away March 28th 2010. He was 12 yrs old. We were making payments on his headstone but my husband lost his job and we got behind on payments. Today I went to the cemetery and they had removed my sons headstone. They will not put it back until the balance of 1500.00 is paid. i would be so grateful if someone could help with this."

Thanks to a group of heroes and the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation, the headstone was paid for and replaced.
