A girl was born on July 1st, 2010 to a loving family in Ohio. When she was born she was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. This causes her to be on oxygen and use a feeding tube. The family has been struggling to make ends meet with a lot of the money going to her doctor bills, specialists, and her home care equipment. With Christmas coming up soon this mother was worried that she wouldn't be able to get her kids anything for Christmas.

The president and founder of an non-profit organization called Sanandome Foundation, Inc. is working on an HIV/AIDS education and prevention program for all. This company in Massachusetts is trying to organize a luncheon for Easter Sunday this year for those people with this condition as well as for local homeless citizens. This wish was posted to try and help the funding for the food that is going to be offered to these in need and to create more awareness of their company and what they offer.

A welcoming family decided to take in a friend and her mom in hope of helping them with the bills as well as helping them out with a place to stay. Neither of them were able to find a job for almost two months of them living with the family. This has caused the family to be put in a tough spot and not having enough money coming in to pay bills and buy groceries for the family. Because of that they were not able to pay the electric bill when it was due.

A family without Christmas, especially one with four small children is something that is painful to think of. This family from Mississippi was in a financial hole with the husband making between $100-200 per week, and hoping for some help for Christmas. Could you imagine explaining to your four children that there will be no presents this year? That mommy and daddy couldn't afford presents or a nice Christmas dinner? After missing the cut off for help for The Salvation Army, this family turned to Wish Upon A Hero.

San Dimas, California
A young woman from San Dimas, California had a mission during the 2007 Christmas season. Her mission was to spread holiday cheer to the homeless men and women in her community. She decided that she could accomplish this by giving hot chocolate, Christmas cards, and a dozen homemade cookies to 15 homeless men and women. In order to for this California woman to be able to complete her mission, she posted a wish on Wish Upon A Hero for donations that could assist with the purchasing of baking supplies, hot chocolate, and thermoses.
