This is the first wish grant by the Palm Harbor University High School Hero Club located in Palm Harbor, Florida.  While hosting the first meeting with all of their Hero Club members they decided to put the time to good use making birthday cards for Erik, a 10 year old boy who was recently adopted from Ukraine.  This year was his first birthday party ever.  He has never had a party or even a card for his birthday. In Ukraine children living in an orphanage would normally get their favorite meal for dinner and some candies for their birthday, but that was it.

A young family experiencing some health issues needed assistance for their 2 year old daughter Tatum. Tatum has a rare disease called Angelman Syndrome. One of her struggles is the lack of speech which makes it difficult to find out what she needs.  It's very important that Tatum learns how to communicate so she can function in everyday life. Tatum has also grown out of her crib, but the family lacks the finances to be able to purchase her a proper safety bed to sleep in so she doesn't wander around the house during the night and get hurt.

Isabella's favorite singer and performer is Taylor Swift. At this time- Isabella is loosing her vision, her ability to walk, she is weak and is not eating. Her wish is very simple, a video message so that she can hear Taylor saying her name, singing to her softly or just a hello would be perfect. If it becomes too late and Isabella is not coherent enough to hear Taylor, we would love to have this to help spread Isabella's amazing story via social media ....and our fight for a Neuroblastoma cure everyday.

My name is Cynthia Jones and I am the grandmother of Brianna Shirley. She is 11 years old and she was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and autism with aspergers tendencies. She is legally blind & has limited vision in her left eye only. She is outgoing and is the opposite of what most children born like her are. She is a huge Zac Brown fan, she's been to 2 concerts in Greenville, SC to see them and wanted to meet them, but we never could make it happen.

Josh is a 5 year old with a seizure disorder, heart condition, and global development delays. His most recent diagnosis has been the most troubling- anhidrosis (inability of the body to sweat). It can be genetic or caused by things like medication or burns. Josh's is genetic, his grandmother also had this condition. There are no effective treatments, so him and his family have had to learn to manage. He can overheat in the middle of winter if dressed too warm, or in just a long sleeve shirt and pants if a building is too warm.
