A friend posted a wish for her husband Craig, who is dying from stage 4 colon cancer. His cancer has reached a stage where there is minimal treatment that doctors can do for him. Craig's last wish is to see his "hero" and "idol" Gene Simmons from KISS. The band was coming to town in Virginia Beach in July on the 21st. Tickets and a backstage pass for a meet and greet with Gene was very expensive and a wish was posted to help raise some funds to grant Craig's wish. They needed $1,000 to make his wish come true.

A Massachusetts mother of three just wanted to be as normal as possible, going out places in public with her family. After posting a wish on WUAH, Wish Ambassador Courtney Hoover decided that this mom and her family should be able to go out and enjoy themselves like all other families without questions.

A Houston mom of two little girls needed help providing school supplies for her 6-year-old entering first grade. She had recently lost her job and couldn't afford the little extra that was needed to purchase items for her daughter's class. So, she posted a wish on Wish Upon A Hero and it was granted just a few short weeks later by Wish Ambassador, Charlene Watson. "I have kids too and I could feel her sorrow in the wish.
