A young family experiencing some health issues needed assistance for their 2 year old daughter Tatum. Tatum has a rare disease called Angelman Syndrome. One of her struggles is the lack of speech which makes it difficult to find out what she needs. It's very important that Tatum learns how to communicate so she can function in everyday life. Tatum has also grown out of her crib, but the family lacks the finances to be able to purchase her a proper safety bed to sleep in so she doesn't wander around the house during the night and get hurt.

A mother of 3 in the Chicago area was looking for some help. One of her twin boys has a rare chromosome deletion (8p23.1 to be exact). He has similarities of an autistic child, yet is different is other ways as well. He cannot talk yet, has a severe learning delay (evaluated at a 9 month old level) and also has several food allergies. He has been in therapy since he was 15 months old and now attends a special needs pre-school. Her husband works two jobs, but still doesn't make enough to be able to handle the financial needs of his family.

Renee's mom learned about Wish Upon A Hero when Convaid Wheelchair was having a contest to receive one of their wheelchairs. She posted a wish for her daughter Renee who has Rett Syndrome which is a neurodevelopmental disorder that makes it very difficult for her to stand, walk and communicate through speech. Many wishes were posted by families who needed a Convaid Wheelchair. Unfortunalty Renee's wish wasn't picked so it remained on the site looking for a hero to desperately help out.

Isabella's favorite singer and performer is Taylor Swift. At this time- Isabella is loosing her vision, her ability to walk, she is weak and is not eating. Her wish is very simple, a video message so that she can hear Taylor saying her name, singing to her softly or just a hello would be perfect. If it becomes too late and Isabella is not coherent enough to hear Taylor, we would love to have this to help spread Isabella's amazing story via social media ....and our fight for a Neuroblastoma cure everyday.

Cole is a 4 year old little boy who loves Super hero's. His all time favorite is Batman. He has 2 incurable illnesses. Ehlers Danlos and Osteogenesis Imperfecta which constantly affect his muscles and bones. When the Wish Upon A Hero foundation saw Cole's wish posted on the site they immediately alerted Gotham City Police to put out the Batsignal and see if Batman would be able to make the trip from Gotham City.

My name is Cynthia Jones and I am the grandmother of Brianna Shirley. She is 11 years old and she was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and autism with aspergers tendencies. She is legally blind & has limited vision in her left eye only. She is outgoing and is the opposite of what most children born like her are. She is a huge Zac Brown fan, she's been to 2 concerts in Greenville, SC to see them and wanted to meet them, but we never could make it happen.

A friend posted a wish for her husband Craig, who is dying from stage 4 colon cancer. His cancer has reached a stage where there is minimal treatment that doctors can do for him. Craig's last wish is to see his "hero" and "idol" Gene Simmons from KISS. The band was coming to town in Virginia Beach in July on the 21st. Tickets and a backstage pass for a meet and greet with Gene was very expensive and a wish was posted to help raise some funds to grant Craig's wish. They needed $1,000 to make his wish come true.
